When teaching music literacy in our general music classes, some children get it right away, some memorize F A C E & E G B D F but a ledger makes their brain explode, and some seem completely confused from start to finish. Why is this so hard for them to understand? In this webinar LeslieAnne Bird will take you through the preliminary steps to prepare your tiny musicians long before you jump into naming the lines and spaces to develop deep understanding of how the music staff works.
You will leave this workshop with concrete activities and steps you can take to build skill and understanding of the music staff.
After registering, the webinar recording and downloadable materials will be added to your online library in the days following the live event.
Upon completion, you may request a certificate of completion for 1.5 hours of professional development by emailing our team at [email protected]. All states and school districts are different, so please check your organizations’ requirements for continuing education.
