WEBINAR RECORDING

One of our greatest intentions as music teachers is to build safe spaces of belonging and community in our music classrooms. This takes work not only at the beginnings of the year, semester, and quarter, but throughout our teaching endeavor. This time of year, children can become a bit too comfortable at school and they begin to get on each others nerves. Rallying your classes and intentionally focusing on building a sense community and setting intentions to be kind while making beautiful music can make for a peaceful and enjoyable middle of the year.

David will share an idea for a rondo project using the book ā€œTomorrow I’ll Be Brave.ā€ LeslieAnne will share activities and ideas to create a welcoming learning experience for all students plus activities to build a strong musical community in your general music classes.

If you are seeking to create peaceful and supportive learning spaces for and with your music students, this webinar is for you. The provided slidedeck will include notes for the implementation of the lessonsĀ and a song written by Dave just for you.

After registering, you will be able to access theĀ webinar recording and downloadable materials from your online library.

Upon completion, you may request aĀ certificate of completion for 1.5 hours of professional development by emailing our team at [email protected]
